In silence lay the stone, the tomb was sealed,
A fractured world held breath in dark despair,
Yet from the depths of night, new hope revealed,
The dawn broke forth, dispelling shadows’ snare.
The earth did tremble, angels sang above,
As life returned to Him who bore our strife,
With hands outstretched, He spoke of boundless love,
The risen King, the gift of eternal life.
O grave, where is thy sting? O death, your claim?
In victory, He triumphed over sin,
The world transformed, forever changed by His name,
For in His wounds, our healing does begin.
So let our hearts rejoice, our voices raise.
In Christ, we find our hope, our endless praise.

The Apostles’ Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord.
He was conceived by the Holy Spirit
and born of the Virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again.
He ascended into heaven,
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.
