More left illusions and idol failure. For decades the Democrats have held the Kennedy family as the pinnacle of excellence; a gold standard, if you will. This interview is breathtaking and further tarnishes the veneer of elitist glory that Democrats have for politicians. The fact that people still admire this family and look to the “Camelot” as some sort of golden area is as laughable as it is tragic.
What Maureen Callahan outlines in her new book is jaw-dropping and disgusting. It appears that the bulk of the Kennedy family legacy is that of serial sexual predation. If these allegations are correct, and we have no reason to think otherwise, Robert F. Kennedy should not only be shamed out of this Presidential election but should be shamed out of society. He has some serious allegations to answer for and, as usual, no one is asking.

This is a great lesson on the evils of the left and some of the perils of the right; idolatry never goes away. In the absence of true biblical faith humans will worship anything, especially man. Politicians, media elites, and celebrities love to worship each other, just watch any late-night talk show. Once civil religion is established, it takes generations to root it out. The political left (and many on the right) idolize the Kennedy dynasty, MLK, FDR, Obama, and now Trump, this is troublesome.
God addresses this in the foundation of the Nation of Israel, it is the very first part of the Ten Commandments:
Exodus 20:1–6 (ESV)
1. And God spoke all these words, saying,
2. “I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.
3. “You shall have no other gods before me.
4. “You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
5. You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the LORD your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me,
6. but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.
This became to lynchpin for the history of Israel throughout the next millennia, rising and falling on its own love of self, and worship strongholds. That legacy carries on today and will continue until Christ’s return. YOU do not have to partake in it!
