How prescient is this? It is amazing when you go back in history and see what politicians from decades ago were warning us about problems we now have in society. “Tricky Dick” saw this coming a long time ago. The media industrial complex is not helpful to Americans, especially Christians and the Church. In media school, they taught us how to manipulate the masses by context, camera placement, and bias. They have been teaching journalists for over a half-century to mislead the viewers and set agendas.
Take the time out of each day and search for alternative forms of the news, try to step outside of your comfort zone where you imbibe your information about the world. In most cases, you might not be getting the truth about what is happening in your neighborhood, your state, and your nation. The Bible warns us of this:
 And you were dead in the trespasses and sins in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience — among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind.
