This is a very interesting exchange on what Christian Nationalism is, could be, and ought to be. The idea of Christian Nationalism is not as new as many think. The exchange between the Babylon Bee and Doug Wilson is extremely illuminating and helped me meander through some of my own reservations about Christian Nationalism.
The culture war is here and Christians need to stand on the side of faith and sound biblical doctrine. The notion of Christian Nationalism is being defamed by the left which has pushed most Christians into hiding. This is not something we should be afraid of or ashamed of. If you care about this nation and its future, you have to start thrusting yourself into uncomfortable conversations and into unfamiliar arenas.
This conversation opens the door to some complex but fascinating ideas of what America did look like and what America is now. Moreover, it paints a surprisingly optimistic, and I would say sound path forward for believers in Christ who hold dear the writing of scripture, politics, and polity.
